Its St Patricks Day next Wednesday. A great excuse to drink a few pints of the black stuff. St Davids Day (Welsh Patron Saint) is, in contrast to St Patricks Day, a great excuse to pick dafodills and dress up in silly costumes!
In celebration of Guiness Day. Heres a great Guiness Cake recipe:

• 1 ½ Cups of Guinness
• 1 Stick of Butter plus 1 Tbsp. (Unsalted)
• ¾ Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
• 2 Cups Dark Brown Sugar
• ¾ Cup Sour Cream
• 2 Eggs
• 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
• 2 Cups Flour
• 2 ½ tsp. Baking Soda
MELT the butter in a saucepan over medium heat along with the Guinness.
REMOVE pan from the heat and whisk in the cocoa and sugar.
MIX together sour cream, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Add to the beer and butter mixture.
MIX together the flour and baking soda in another bowl and fold into the liquid mixture. The batter will still be a little lumpy but will bake out in the oven.
BAKE the cupcakes at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Let them cool completely before frosting. Enjoy!

Its a clever strategy to build safe retreats for when climate change puts the entire nation under water…they build a ton of these floating islands to live on.

Spanish Designer Enoc Armengol likes disposable living.
Why spend a fortune at expensive furniture stores when you can follow his example and simply bake as you go!

‘every piece forms a living, organic, natural structure, which suffers the alterations
on having interacted with the environment, humans, animals…this is food! it creates
a vital cycle, which it’s born, lives, and dies without leaving rest.100% alive matter.
100% biodegradable. the work is formed by a set of common furniture, composed
by two chairs and one table, these turn automatically into the core of a synergy of shared
actions, both internal and external, that modify the initial form constantly. somehow
this installation can be a clear reflect from the actual society and production process.
fast, and the short-time life of the current, almost ephemeral furniture. nevertheless,
these pieces can also be eaten becoming part of the living process.’

This is getting copied all over Chatroulette now but it was funny back in the day!
