USB Instant Messenger Pop Up Toy

Availabot makes it easy to see when a particular friend of yours is available for instant messaging, even when you’re not sitting in front of your computer. Rather than showing up on your screen, it shows availability as a physical object in the world. The little guy pops up when your friend is online, and collapses when they go.

Because Availabot works entirely over USB, you can plug in as many puppets as you have USB ports (or friends on your IM buddylist). Imagine a whole line of them on your desk!
