Google to enter magazine market?

Rumour is that Google are planning entry to the magazine market…

They have applied for a patent for a system that allows “Customization of Content and Advertisements in Publications.”
In other words, a “printed on demand” custom magazine with targeted ads.
Has google run out of fingers to place inside pies yet?
