“Natures Little Helpers” by Patricia Piccinini

This little fella is a sculpture by artist Patricia Piccinini. Its based on the Northern Hairynosed Wombat and is part of a larger collection called Natures Little Helpers.
With the sculptures, I have been able to present my creature ideas in a
fashion that is direct and strangely believable. People are fascinated
by the tiny details, the moles and wrinkles, which almost forces them
to accept the possibility of their existing.
