Now thats pretty damn impressive…

It was done using a mix of water projection screen techniques and some synchronized water fountains to give the splash effect at the end.

It was all done to promote the new Japanese film “The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep”.More at the Tokyo Times

Tis indeed a cool effect – but it’s not for a Japanese film, just for the release of the movie in Japan.

THE WATER HORSE: LEGEND OF THE DEEP is based on one of Dick King-Smith’s books [he also wrote the book on which BABE was based].

THE WATER HORSE was released here in the US over Christmas; for some silly reason [known only to the distributors] the UK has to wait until February 1st.
