The specialty food of Palau is Fruit Bat…
Yep..a whole Fruit Bat. Skull, Teeth, Tongue, Eyes…you name it and down it goes.
I did a little google about this lovely little delicacy and came across the photos of a couple who also tried this little delight… heres a picture of the fruit bat before its cooked. It looks like a little dead Gremlin doesnt it.
