Indulge the kid in you by using this great little Google mashup which searches for amusing place names based around your postcode. I picked up a Clitsome Farm, Lord Herefords Knob and an odd place called Penishapentre. When i entered the postcode of old place in Southampton, i found i could have visited Sandy Balls and Wet Pits
