Geek Baseball fans get it all wrong. Thanks Google Translate. Thanks a bunch!

We featured some geek football hooliganism a couple of days ago…now its the turn of Baseball geeks…

In a recent game in Chicago, Cubs debut player Kosuke Fukudome was confronted by these banners in the crowd. “?????”

The fans had intended to show support for the new player by saying “Its gonna happen” (thats support?) but the geek fans were, instead, illustrating a flaw in Google Translate which translated their banner too “It was lucky” (or you can read it as “It was accidental”).

At least they tried and showed a little bit of initiative eh! Source via
