Stock Images: BAD. Santa’s Elf: GOOD!

MSI and ASUS were recently caught out when they both used the same library stock image from GettyImages. They adapted the image to promote their own portable laptop.
What confuses the hell out of me is why ASUS decided that they should photoshop the boy into a christmas elf with candy colour lipstick and blusher? They have even given the nosy kid in the background a touch of puce on his cheek too!
Marketing eh! Maybe this ad was targeted towards the north pole region? via
