Jack, over at Ugly Overload, captured these grusome images of (half of) an unidentified fish that had washed up on the shore in Fiji. The fish seemed to have eaten a pufferfish which had then inflated and killed the larger fish with its deadly tetododoxin.

I simply have no idea what on earth this packet of Doritos is trying to say. If somebody could translate this very odd piece of packaging it would be very useful and hopefully insightful!

Some news from close to home now. This unfortunate guy dropped his lighter in a 30″ diameter hole in the middle of Swansea, South Wales on the weekend. He decided to climb feet first (yep…doh!) into the hole and got himself well and truly stuck. He stayed there for a couple of hours while several attempts to free him were unsuccessful. via AWV
What the people of Swansea dont know is that, somewhere on the other side of the world, he was going down a storm…!

UPDATE: Arbroath has some great youtube footage. It seems he became a local celebrity!

This “Smart Windshield” concept for Wired Magazine has some exciting (but undoubtedly dangerous) features…(Click on the image to zoom in by the way)

Handsfree Tetris, conference calls, google calendar and, the feature that caught my eye, a driver identification system that tells you more about other drivers on the road in front of you…what a great idea! It could become a kind of Auto-Facebook where you could swap details, become friends, exchange music tracks, info, chat etc.
Not dangerous at all!
Wired recently wrote about a new system that Chrysler will soon be unveiling called the UConnect Web system for their cars. Whilst not quite as busy as the concept above it will allow access to email, downloadable music, games and web access so you can upload pictures to flickr. via

This was the touching, romantic moment 2 technologies met in a quiet corner of the Microsoft Campus. They followed each other around, flashing their lights provocatively and swiping their windscreen wipers until finally the Google Street View Car gave out and they made sweet love to each other all night long…
Not really, this was the moment that the cheeky Google Street View crew were caught wandering around the Microsoft campus by the Microsoft Live Maps crew. via Gizmodo
